This morning, despite us all being sick we got up and went to the parade. Zoe had a good time waving at everyone and of course, catching the candy.
When I was younger, 4th of July was always a big ‘to do’. We didn’t miss a year. My Mom would get me all dressed up in red, white, and blue then we’d all hit the parade. After the parade, which was always fun, everyone would meet in the backyard to enjoy my Dad’s grilling expertise. Once everyone was full and it was getting dusk, we’d head over to the fireworks that were on the golf course (picking up my 2 best friends on the way). Ahhh... Good times and great memories!!! It’s so much fun for me now that I am a Mother and can do all the same things with my child.
Here are a few pictures from our day.......
