Thanksgiving

This year was a pretty special Thanksgiving! Zoe decided she wanted to take the reins and not only make the menu, but also cook the meal. Who can argue with that? She made a poster with all the dishes she wanted to make. With us only being three, we don't make a huge meal so it isn't too much to make. The menu consisted of.... Chicken with spiced cider glaze (No, we didn't do turkey this year!), stove top stuffing, cauliflower mashed, green bean casserole, and homemade pumpkin pie. Everything was very good!

Earlier in the day, we were able to sneak in a hike. The weather was absolutely beautiful. It was nice to get out and enjoy the fresh air.

There is always so much to be thankful for. At the last moment, Dana & Jaylyns plans fell through so we invited them over to have dinner with us. The girls did a cute Thanksgiving craft.
