We spent most of the morning at the barn getting everything ready for Doc's arrival next weekend. It's been a long time coming and we are beyond ready for him to get here. We got him yummy (low carb/low sugar) treats, new grooming brushes, a pretty new halter and lead rope, feed buckets, salt lick, and lots of other good stuff to make his adjustment as smooth as possible. The icing on the cake was the handmade sign that one of my students made me for the stall door. It makes Doc's house a home. We will be counting the days until he is here for good!
